About Us

Strippers Furniture Restoration
started in 1963. It was originally a
Bix Stripper franchise. Although we
have not been part of the Bix
franchise for over 40 years, we still
sell Bix strippers to our do-it
yourself customers to this day.
This is a second generation family business with
the third generation learning the trade. Our
children have been sanding, staining and carving,
(I'd say all of it) since they were young. We have
done work for many of the businesses and
residents of the Twin Cities including the
Governor's Mansion, the Historical Henry Sibley
House, many churches and synagogues and
restaurants. We also do a lot of work for
contractors and home owners who like to do part
of the job themselves.
Though people have known Strippers to be on
Selby Ave. in St. Paul, Minnesota their entire
lives, it started in a small shop on Snelling Ave.
in St. Paul in the old Firehouse Station.

We have come a long way since then, and all the
people we have worked with over the years have
helped in making us the best and oldest furniture
restoration company in the Twin Cities.
