Paint Removal Paint removal or stripping is the first and most important part in a complete restoration job whether it's a piece of furniture, a painted door or the molding in a room that you want to refinish. Every piece that we strip is done by hand with a cold solvent flow-over process to avoid damage to the wood. We DO NOT USE DIP TANK METHODS. That method is very harmful to solid woods and even more harmful to veneers on furniture and doors. We can remove most finishes including: * Paint * Varnish * Lacquer * Polyurethane |
We can strip almost anything that can be brought into our shop including: * Furniture * Woodwork * Windows * Molding * Doors * Stair rails and spindles * Fire place mantles * Heat register covers * Metals * and more! We do not do onsite work in your home. All pieces need to be removed by the homeowner or a contractor. We do offer pick up and delivery service if needed. |
