We give meticulous attention to detail in
every aspect of our finishing, we hand
sand every piece, and every piece is
stained from top to bottom, inside and
out. All surfaces are finished, including the
interiors of drawers, the backs of cabinets
and the undersides of tables. This makes
your wood stronger, because it is sealed
from all sides. We hand sand between
each of the multiple coats of lacquer finish
then carefully inspect each piece before
calling it complete.

We can match the color and sheen of your existing
finishes or match it to something else you have in
the room. Not sure what color you want or you don't
know how the wood will look once it has been
stripped? We can call you to come into the shop for
a personal color consultation on your piece. We will
start by showing you the natural color of your wood
vs. how it would look with different stain colors of
your choice. We will advise you what type of wood
your piece is made from and what the traditional
stain color for the style of your piece would be.
